Michael J. Sumko, DO
Michael J. Sumko, D.O., is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the management of arthritis, hip and knee replacement, joint reconstruction and revision surgery, and robotic assisted MAKOplasty® for uni-compartmental disease.
Dr. Sumko is dedicated to providing his patients with high quality care. This is accomplished by his focus on minimally invasive soft-tissue, muscle sparring techniques that allow less pain and a fast track to recovery after surgery. He strives to have his patients experience a minimal hospital stay to help return them to their active lifestyles and improve their quality of life. He believes each patient is unique. He has been trained on a variety of the latest technologies to accomplish successful outcomes on an individualized basis.
Dr. Sumko enjoys serving in the community. He served a two year Spanish speaking mission in Puerto Rico, currently serves in his local church, and loves working with and serving the United States veterans.
